Set in the locales of Karnal (Haryana), the film deals with the blood mafia and rides completely on its content. Very well sung by Kishore da and well performed by Rajesh Khanna. The release date for Yeh Laal Rang is yet to be finalised. Yeh Laal Rang movie is a social thriller which deals with the menace of thefts in a blood bank in a small town in Haryana. The actor is likely to have two releases this year, Do Lafzon Ki Kahaani and Main Aur Charles. Randeep Hooda will also be seen in Main Aur Charles, rumoured to be a biopic on the infamous bikini killer Charles Shobhraj. He played a Haryanavi Gujjar in Imtiaz Ali's Highway but the movie concentrated on Alia Bhatt's story and did not explore his character much. Yeh Laal Rang will be perhaps Randeep's first movie that fully exploits his Haryanvi roots. Randeep plays Akshay's mentor in the film where the duo indulges in an illegal business of blood transfusion.
